Outbound, the way the desk does it

Write to one person at a time.

Outbound has a bad name, and most of it is earned. Lists of strangers, the same note to everyone, no easy way to say no. We run it the other way, slowly and on purpose, because the buyers you want can tell the difference in one line.

What every message goes through.

Each message starts as homework. We read the account, the person's role and what has shifted for them lately. Then someone writes to that person, about that, in plain words. Then a second person reads it before it goes. If it could have been sent to anyone, it does not go.

Researched

A reason to write that is about them, written down before a word of the message.

Written

For one named person, in your voice, short enough to read standing up.

Reviewed

Read by a human who can say no. Plenty of drafts never leave the desk.

The rules we keep.

  • We contact people one at a time, with a reason that is about them.
  • We only reach out where it is fair to, and we keep a note of why.
  • Anyone who says stop is stopped, everywhere, at once.
  • We never pretend to be a friend, a referral or a past conversation.
  • No invented urgency and no fake replies. If the reason is not good enough to state plainly, we do not write.

What you see while it runs.

You see the work itself. The accounts we chose and why, the messages before they go, and the replies when they come back. Nothing is hidden behind a summary.

At the start we agree a baseline with you: where your pipeline comes from today and what counts as a real opportunity. Every report reads against that line, so progress means something and so does a quiet spell.

What you keep when we leave.

Everything the desk built is yours at handover. The playbook, the account research, the message library, and the rules for when to write and when to wait.

Your own people learn to run it while we are still beside them, so the channel does not stall the day we step back.
